November lake-effect snow[edit]

Early December 2020 nor'easter[edit]

I think the recent nor'easter in early December deserves an article; it caused hundreds of thousands of power outages, numerous crashes, heavy wet snow accumulations, and was a significant nor'easter being a bomb cyclone. This meets the criteria for an article, and I am suggesting an article titled Early December 2020 nor'easter here. Should we create this article or not? Mid-February Winter Storm[edit]

@Super Cyclonic Storm Corona: We typically avoid including minor winter storms in the Events section; that would really crowd up the article and would be overdoing it. "Roland" was not a very major snow or ice event in a widespread area, and does not deserve a place in the Events section. Instead, minor winter storms, like this one, should go in the Seasonal summary, where a small summary of the systems can be given and the storm will still have a place in the article. And to answer your question, 3RR is the "three-revert rule", which states that on Wikipedia, you can't make more than three reverts on one article within 24 hours. Violating will result in a 72-hour block from editing Wikipedia (I had that happen to me before I knew about it.) I hope this clears everything up. Edit warring[edit]

@MarioProtIV and HurricaneCovid: I'm only going to say this once: STOP EDIT WARRING OR I WILL REPORT BOTH OF YOU. This is getting ridiculous. The edit summary is literally full with you guys arguing with each other, yet neither one of you bought the discussion to the talk page so EVERYONE could discuss the problem. Enough of this bullsh*t. For real. These edit wars have to stop. BTW, the parties involved should be made fully aware that WP:OWN clearly states that no one editor or group of editors get to dictate how an article is run. (There is one editor in particular who may need to give that page another read.) Take the disputes to the talk page. (Discord also works, but only if it produces meaningful results and a cessation of the edit wars.) Now, this ends here. Otherwise, I will open up a general discussion on the WPNTS talk page (linked to the WPTC talk page for more input) on how to handle the disputed issues going forward. And if edit-warring continues beyond that, there will be consequences. Sanctions will be likely, and blocks may come down as well. That's not to say that the current level of edit-warring doesn't merit action. It has already gotten pretty bad, and I would urge all of you to stop with the warring. Article request: Late October Ice Storm[edit]
