Article needs clean-up[edit]

I tagged this article for clean-up because it does not have any section headings and the story drops one into the middle of the action without giving a brief introduction to what we are talking about, where it happened, or what relevance the title has to the rest of the article. We are 7 factoids into the article before we find out that "Chimney Canyon, just north of the ghost town of Ruby, Arizona", which I assume is in the USA, if I remember my geography right. The third and fourth paragraphs read like they have been copied from press releases without being curated to bring the important facts to the top of the article, like "the area is mountainous and rugged", not just "remote" and this happened on the "main trail". A lead section would highlight these, and other, facts by summarizing them in one, or perhaps two, short paragraph(s). The rest of the article needs sections that have different headings to separate the event from its aftermath and political reaction, as well as the background history and geography of the region. This would allow the article to be unpacked and grow up and out in multiple directions rather being compressed into a little news story, which it appears to be at the moment. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 03:51, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
