Bold display of advanced teams, usage of uncollapsed football box from quarterfinals, use of flags in season infoboxes[edit]

Just for curiosity, why has the bold accentuation for advanced teams, as seen in revision, been reverted? It would be a nice feature to have, especially as Template:Football box collapsible finally supports the syntax needed for this (which was not the case some six to nine months ago). Alternatively, how about using the regular font style for preview lines in said template?

Also, I always thought that it had been consensus to use Template:Football box for quarterfinal matches and beyond, at least for those cup season articles with a larger number of participants like the FA Cup, Copa del Rey, Coppa Italia and so on. However, I have been largely inactive for the last seven to eight months due to university work, so I might have missed a change in consensus if there had been one. Could anybody be so kind and provide me an update? :-)

Finally, and yes, I know that this is inconsistently applied on various kinds of season articles, but could we please remove any flags from the infoboxes, including those for best goalscorers of a tournament? Aside from the usual WP:FLAG issues, there is simply no need to display them as the focus is on a national cup competition. --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 10:35, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The bold issue is more convention than anything else. None of the previous season articles using the current format have this feature. In my opnion it just looks bad, and with score clearly displayed it's not as if there is any confusion as to which club won a given match. As for the other issues, I agree entirely and will get around to changing later today. Sir Sputnik (talk) 13:57, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
