Why is this article (plus the womens) U.S. Open ... but all the others and previous years are US Open ...

When the main page (2006 U.S. Open) was created the links were created in that fashion with the singles having U.S. and the other six events having just US. They'll all probably get moved, but now is probably not the best of time while all of the pages are in a rapid state of flux. I think I'll put redirects for now on the six offending pages and then move the pages when the tournament is actually over (it's bad enough actually maintaining the draws!). –Pakman044 05:19, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
