Elections of provincial Governors and Government Chief of the Buenos Aires City

The provincial elections where held on April 27, 8, 22, June 29, August 24, 31, September 7, 14, 28, October 5, 19, 26 and November 9, 16, 23 of 2003, depending on the province. All the 23 provincial governors and the Chief of Government of the Buenos Aires City where elected.

Factual Error in Article - Subject: Reference to UCR[edit]

The second paragraph of the article's Background section contains a factual error, to wit: "For the first time since 1916, the UCR did not field a presidential candidate."

Although the statement has a footnote associated to it, it is factually incorrect, and the article flatly contradicts it further down by including the UCR's presidential candidate Leopoldo Moreau and his running mate Maria Losada in the table of candidates.

Suggested action: delete the sentence at issue, insert the following after "...popular support for the UCR was at historically low levels": ", and the party would garner its worst ever result since its founding." This may require the addition of a modifier to the subsequent sentence to improve readability. Minifidel (talk) 01:11, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
