Wording of statement[edit]

I am not sure that saying "The matches were originally planned to be played in 1997, but South Africa couldn't be bothered to find time on the calendar" is terribly encyclopaedic - the phrase "couldn't be bothered" seems to be a bit point of view without a source to back it up. The edition is about 1997 however it was played on 1999. --Fayçal.09 (talk) 18:42, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I am aware of the delay, my concern is "couldn't be bothered" does not sound terribly encyclopaedic and implies blame without a source to back it up. If it is a sourced quote, it would be fine provided it was cited, but otherwise I think saying something like "South Africa were unable to find time on the calendar..." would be better. To Dunarc, I added a link to article. I think that's allright now. --Fayçal.09 (talk) 08:37, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
