Reverted to latest non-copyvio version[edit]

Rename[edit]

This article should be named "Operation Desert Strike" because that is like the real name (official name) of the event, rather than some phrase.--$1LENCE D00600D (talk) 04:28, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cradle of Conflict: Iraq and the Birth of the Modern US Military[edit]

in case you want to add detail to this entry, there is a very comprehensive interview-led account given by multiple Desert Strike planners in my book, Cradle of Conflict: Iraq and the Birth of the Modern US Military, which is on Google books (there went my royalties...)

The account is fully-footnoted, so important secondary sources are given also, including one particular Master's thesis by a US military guy that proved very useful as it contained some original interview material with planners.
