  • Oppose The article is indeed about the drinking water, the disaster was that it was turned off for a month. The sewage overflow caused the drinking water disaster.   • Comment - Both titles might need expansion - "drinking water supply disaster" or "sewage discharge disaster". Presumably both aspects were disastrous - similar discharges into the Thames and its tributaries in London have had major environmental consequences, with large-scale ecosystem impact. Someone with better knowledge of the facts would hopefully be able to suggest a title that combines both elements of the disaster. Opbeith (talk) 09:25, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Certainly the present title needs changing - firstly I see no reason for the title (whichever is chosen) to have every word capitalized. Then "drinking water disaster" implies something quite different from what happened here (as if many people were poisoned by drinking water). The disaster was connected with sewage, in fact I don't know that it's necessary to include "disaster" in the title - it should just be enough to say 1995 Kharkiv sewage spillage or something like that.--Kotniski (talk) 09:50, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Find a better name and rename, I didn't like the name when I created the article, but for lack of better words I created it as it is now. Glad this issue came up. First of all, this is an engineering disaster. Second, the drinking water disaster is an effect, while the water treatment plant/sewage failure is the cause triggered by a torrential rain (Rain -> Sewage failure -> Drinking Water disaster (effect). From this point of view, In the sequence of events, I see it very similar to Hurricane Katrina -> 2005 levee failures in Greater New Orleans -> Effects … But, I believe, the name should be picked carefully, since effects of the disaster made the disaster notable, not the sewage failure itself.
