Guys, I seriously doubt that ALL Miami players "consumed heavy quantities of cocaine" before the banquet. This statement undermines what is otherwise an informative and non-biased account of the game and the events that preceded it.

The previous account of the pre-game banquet and Miami walkout was ludicrously biased in Penn State's favor (I mean, seriously?), and walked well past the line of ignorance and in to racism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boylanj64 (talk • contribs) 07:13, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

70 million viewers?[edit]

Anyone have a source for this claim? The game drew a 25.1 rating (in 1987). By comparison, the 2006 Rose Bowl had a 21.7 rating and 35.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen. Can anyone explain this discrepancy and get a solid source for the 70 million viewers claim? -- TexasDawg (talk) 05:16, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
