Merge discussion[edit]

I propose that this article be merged into the yet-to-be-created Aston Villa F.C. season 1981–82. Other Aston Villa season articles exist, and this info could easily be merged into an article about the club's overall season. – Pee Jay 01:44, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of any objections, I have gone ahead and moved the article to Aston Villa F.C. season 1981–82 and hived-off the next season's matches to Aston Villa F.C. season 1982–83. I'll leave someone with more knowledge/interest in Villa to expand both articles into full season articles, including league and domestic cup results etc. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 08:30, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Retrospective note - the article was moved from Aston Villa F.C. in the 1981–82 European Cup to Aston Villa F.C. season 1981–82. Just thought I'd mention it as the former title wasn't noted above. --Jameboy (talk) 21:25, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
