Sandy Koufax/Yom Kippur[edit]

I added Sandy Koufax refusing to pitch to the trivia section, but it seems like it should be at least a part of the Game 1 story. I'm not sure how to properly write it, though. DandyDan2007 05:46, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In color?[edit]

Various times you will hear Vin Scully telling viewers the game is "brought to you in living color on NBC", yet rebroadcasts are always in black & white, such as today's rebroadcast of Game 4 in MLB Network. Any reason why? DarkAudit (talk) 18:29, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Series quotes[edit]

In other quarters (Museum of Jewish American History), the "wish Drysdale was Jewish" is attributed to Drysdale himself; on being relieved by manager Walter Alston, after getting hammered by the Twins, Drysdale said, "I'll bet you wish I was Jewish today!"
