– These articles each describe both the special elections to fill the last few months of the term and the simultaneously held regular elections for the next term. The proposes style is consistent with articles such as 1928 United States Senate elections in Michigan and 2010 United States Senate elections in Illinois. 2601:241:300:B610:B550:E4DC:6E10:5F76 (talk) 03:48, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support, and as the person creating most of these articles, I plan to use this title format going forward in these cases. A separate issue, but wondering if 1954 United States Senate special elections in Nebraska shouldn't be split into two articles and worried about 1954 United States Senate election in North Carolina, which probably should not follow this template because 1954 United States Senate special election in North Carolina also exists. -A-M-B-1996- (talk) 18:15, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
