I forgot the name...--antondimak 1:37, 25 January 2016 (EET)

Want me to mark it for speedy deletion, then you can re-create it with the name? - superβεεcat  00:37, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Moved page to proper title / removed Proposed Deletion. Now it has to stand on its own merits; it could use better citations. - superβεεcat  08:17, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Name and references[edit]

Although "Revolution of Macedonians in 1878" may be a name for this event used in Greek, I find it very inappropriate in English. First of all, the event was not a revolution, but a series of riots/rebellions which, at best, constitutes an uprising. And Macedonians is just a terrible term to use here. I would go for something like "Greek riots in Macedonia in 1878" / "Greek Uprising in Macedonia in 1878" (if this can be properly sourced). Also, I highly recommend that the article be rewritten according to WP:NPOV, because right now it's clearly showing a Greek bias. Toдor Boжinov 12:55, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fully agree in both counts. I moved the page so that it is a correct translation of the Greek WP title, which is the one current in Greek historiography AFAIK, but would not be opposed to something like "Greek uprising(s) in Macedonia (1878)". Priority should be finding some decent sources for this, though. Constantine 22:04, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
