The result of the move request was: consensus to move the page, per the discussion below. I have redirected 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to White House; please follow up with hatnotes as necessary. Dekimasuよ! 21:52, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue1600 Pennsylvania Avenue (disambiguation) – This address is synonymous with the White House. The musical, news show, and sitcom are comparatively obscure and ephemeral. I propose to move this to a "(disambiguation)" title so that the address can be redirected to White House. bd2412 T 03:52, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support: The other topics derive their name from The White House (which does not lead to a dab page). Incidentally, I'm surprised to note that no one seems to produced a notable book, play, film, or song called 10 Downing Street. —BarrelProof (talk) 04:57, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. The White House definitely has the most long-term significance for this phrase. kennethaw88talk 05:03, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Shouldn't 1600 Penn also point to the White House? -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 05:59, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think that would be a stretch, Google News search supports the T.V. show. Zarcadia (talk) 22:24, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment If this move goes ahead, there will need to be a {{redirect}} hatnote at the top of the White House page. I can see people then objecting that there are too many hatnotes there. Avoiding adding to that clutter would be an advantage of keeping the dab page as it currently exists. PamD 17:23, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • If the primary topic of the term is White House, then perhaps some other solution can be arrived at. However, the "other uses" hatnote currently on the page could accommodate this additional information. bd2412 T 17:32, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support as clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Zarcadia (talk) 22:22, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
