Police[edit]
I don't know about England, but certainly in Scotland you need to let both the Police and local council know the route before they'll let you run the event. Ewan 13:04, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
In England only the police must be informed. They can then not disallow the event - it is purely for their information--90.197.192.168 01:53, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
