Internet access in North Korea[edit]

there are 2 ways of access

1.via Cable Traffic goes via China to the rest of the World (but without Censoring) Users get Chinese IP adress. Ping to WIkipedia is about 800ms.

2. via SAT the traffic goes via SAT (Intel-sat afaik) from Pyongyang to Frankfurt,Germany so all users that are Online in North Korea , are Online with an German (or Austrian,depends on Time) IP adress Ping to Wikipedia is about 1,2s

www.korea-dpr.com is actually owned by a private Spanish citizen, and is the Korean Friendship Association's main website. It is not an official DPRK website, though it is officially recognized by that country's government, and the KFA holds a lot of weight in the DPRK as far as visiting delegations and such go. --99.250.177.248 (talk) 00:42, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Website Opened[edit]

A new website Publications of the DPRK (http://www.korean-books.com.kp) has recently opened, according to Naenara, which is also a North Korean website of .kp domain.
