The Ii family did not control the whole province. There were Miyagawa-han, Minakuchi-han, Zeze-han, etc. --Nanshu 02:59, 2 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Possibly appropriate addition to this article -- but perhaps better placed elsewhere?
