Merge proposal[edit]
I propose that Ông Táo be merged into Kitchen God. I think that the content in the Ông Táo article can easily be explained in the context of Kitchen God, and the Kitchen God article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Ông Táo will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Disagree Kitchen God is the Chinese version. Other Asian versions are listed at the bottom in the "see also" section (Korean Jowangsin, Japanese Sanbō-Kōjin, and Vietnamese Ông Táo). - Support the merge Ông Táo and Zao Jun are basically the same god. (vi:Ông Táo is also linked to this article.) Korean Jowangsin and Japanese Kōjin are different cases because Jowangsin has strong connection to Korean shamanism, and Kōjin to Japanese Shinto religion.
