Shoqan Rural District (Persian: دهستان شوقان), formerly Jolgeh Shoqan Rural District (lang-fa|دهستان جلگه شوقان),[3] is in Jolgeh Shoqan District of Jajarm County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Shoqan.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,538 in 725 households.[6] There were 2,520 inhabitants in 794 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,497 in 779 households. The most populous of its 19 villages was Hesar-e Isa, with 643 people.[2]
