Shapur Rural District (Persian: دهستان شاپور)[3] is in the Central District of Kazerun County, Fars province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Seyyed Hoseyn,[5] transferred from the village of Anarestan.[6]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,759 in 1,431 households.[7] There were 5,889 inhabitants in 1,533 households at the following census of 2011.[8] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,113 in 1,843 households. The most populous of its 21 villages was Seyyed Hoseyn, with 1,225 people.[2]
