Savamar (Persian: ثوامر), also Romanized as S̄avāmar and Savāmer,^[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Shalahi Rural District of the Central District of Abadan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,283 in 243 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,408 people in 367 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,432 people in 398 households.^[2]
