    • East side of Vauxhall Bridge, on the south side; immediately next to the MI6 building. (Useless fact; because the Thames foreshore is still common land by royal decree which has never been repealed, you can walk, take photos etc smack in the middle of the Government Security Zone areas around MI6, Parliament, Battersea Heliport etc, and provided you're below the high-tide mark the police are powerless to do anything except give you dirty looks.) – iridescent 00:17, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

• Oppose this particular picture, although I certainly agree a Wembley photo would be a good idea. This one is quite washed-out and the sky is very grey; there are better Wembley pictures on Commons (My pick would be this one) — iridescent 01:37, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

• Comment I agree. The photographs in Wembley Stadium all seem to date from January, and are washed out - not the photographer's fault, it was a bad day. There are a couple of 'colourful' interior shots, but they too have their faults. The best on commons seems to be File:Bobby Moore Statue.jpg - a local hero when I was growing up; so, I might be accused of bias. • Comment - I agree with Iridescent - that particular photo isn't the best. I'm a big fan of the Bobby Moore one though - that should certainly have its time at some point in the future. A while back (by "while", I mean approximately twothree years ago) I mooted the idea of having images related to events going on the month. Following that theme, Bobby Moore and Wembley for May? • Support as nom. Seems a better composed image than the other Canary Wharf image on this page, and it makes the juxtaposition of old and new in that area much more explicit. Also, when was the last time we had a showcase pic of one of London's parks? Ham 12:57, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

While File:StPaulBlitz.jpg is arguably the iconic image of London, it's also a copyvio and up for deletion. This one serves the same purpose and is US Government sourced so is PD (albeit only captioned as "London" - can anyone identify the street?). – iridescent 18:28, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
