Max Brown is an American football quarterback who will play for the Charlotte 49ers. He previously played for the Florida Gators.

High school career[edit]

Brown attended Lincoln Christian School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During his high school career, he had 4,416 passing-yards and 68 touchdowns. As a senior, he was the Oklahoma District 3-3A MVP.[1] Brown committed to the University of Florida to play college football.[2][3][4]

College career[edit]

Florida[edit]

Brown redshirted his first year at Florida in 2022. He entered 2023 as the backup to Graham Mertz.[5] After Mertz suffered an injury, Brown started his first career game against Florida State.[6][7] He entered the transfer portal on December 4, 2023.[8]

Charlotte[edit]

On December 11, 2023, Brown announced that he would be transferring to Charlotte.[9]
