Kuraneh (Persian: كورانه), also Romanized as Kūrāneh,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Eqbal-e Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,351 in 360 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,575 people in 465 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,709 people in 507 households.[2]
