Kings Kids Africa Foundation was founded in 2010 by Glenn Yuka. It was founded with aims of helping the vulnerable children in Uganda, helping widows and provide safe drinking water to communities. The organization is based in East Africa ( Uganda, Mbale District). In 2018, Kings Kids Africa Foundation built its first children's home for vulnerable orphans in Mbale District (Busiu) in Eastern Uganda.[1] As of 2024, Kings Kids Africa has constructed thirteen homes which are occupied by one hundred and fifty two children in different regions of Uganda.

In 2010 Glenn Yuka founded the Kings Kids Africa Foundation located in Kampala District in Uganda. In 2022, the foundation received donations from the Giving University of United States of America through Glenn Yuka.[2] This was followed by several donations from different countries to help organization activities move smoothly. In 2011, the foundation partnered with The Global Orphan Project from United States which facilitated the training of the children caretakers for Kings Kids Africa Foundation.[3]
In 2010, the foundation built their first children's home in Mbale District (Busiu) in Eastern Uganda which accommodated ten children (five boys and five girls). This was aimed at providing shelter to the displaced and abandoned orphan children. In 2011, Billy Austin partnered with Kings Kids Africa Foundation in building their second house in Angaria (Busiu) in Mbale District.[4]
In 2021 the foundation in partnership with Giving University of United States constructed a borehole in Kakoli parish in Pallisa District providing clean fresh water to over five hundred thousand residents.[5] In 2022, Giving University partnered with Kings Kids Africa to train widows of Budadiri East Constituency of Sironko District.[6] This was aimed at skilling the needy widows create opportunities for survival in their daily life with their families.[7]
Mission[edit]
The foundation's mission is to look out for the orphan children who are misplaced, abandoned and abused through providing shelter, food, education and clothing. Kings Kids Africa also plays a huge role in providing clean and safe water to communities, skilling widows through the different programs organized to uplift the people in different regions of Uganda.[8][9]
