Joe Birrell (born 11 March 1930) is a British hurdler. He competed in the men's 110 metres hurdles at the 1948 Summer Olympics.[1]

Early life[edit]

He took part in the Olympics when aged 18. He completed his national service in the army until 1950. He went to Loughborough College in September 1950.[2]
