Golian (Persian: گليان, also Romanized as Golīān, Gelīān, Geleyān, Gīlen, and Golīyān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Golian Rural District of the Central District of Shirvan County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 619 in 178 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 441 people in 131 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 598 people in 209 households.[2]
