Gmina Proszowice is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Proszowice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Proszowice, which lies approximately 31 kilometres (19 mi) north-east of the regional capital Kraków.

The gmina covers an area of 99.78 square kilometres (38.5 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 16,188 (out of which the population of Proszowice amounts to 6,205, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 9,983).
