Giorgi Nikabadze (Georgian: გიორგი ნიქაბაძე; born 10 January 1991) is a Georgian footballer who plays as a forward for Uzbekistan Super League club Novbahor.

He won the Georgian Erovnuli Liga with Dinamo Batumi in 2021. Also, he has become the topscorer of Liga 2 as well as most prolific striker for several teams.

Career[edit]

Nikabadze has played in four countries. A Lyga side Banga was the first club where he spent a full season.

In 2018, he netted ten goals for newly promoted Liga 2 club Telavi. A year later, while at Merani Tbilisi, Nikabadze became a league topscorer and major contributor to his team's promotion to Erovnuli Liga.

The next summer, he moved to title-chasing Dinamo Batumi.[1] On 21 November 2020, when the Batumi Stadium was officially opened, Nikabadze netted against Dila Gori to become the first goalscorer in the history of this arena.[2] Nikabadze won the champion's title with his team in 2021.[3]

After a short spell in Malta, in May 2022 Nikabadze signed for Samgurali.[4] In 2023, with nine goals scored against the league opponents, he finished as best striker of the team despite his departure in mid-season. In the summer transfer window, he left for Uzbekistan,[5] initially to sign for Neftchi Fergana and later for Novbahor.
