Gala Gordon (born 26 March 1991) is an English producer and actress.
Early life[edit]
Gala Gordon was born in London. Gala was named after Salvador Dalí's wife. She attended Bryanston School, Dorset, and graduated in 2012 from London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama[1] where she played lead roles in several stage productions such as The Seagull, Hamlet, Agamemnon and The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.[2]

Acting[edit]
After graduation, Gordon made her professional stage debut in 2012, playing the lead role of Irina in Benedict Andrews’ production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters at the Young Vic starring opposite Vanessa Kirby.[1]
In 2013 she filmed her first feature film Kids in Love about a group of modern bohemian friends. The main cast also includes Cara Delevingne and Alma Jodorowsky.[3] Also in 2013 she appeared in the Suede's "Hit Me" video clip, recorded in the Manchester Art Gallery.
In 2016, Gordon played Verity Richardson in ITV drama Endeavour followed by her role as Christine Keeler in the award-winning Netflix-original drama The Crown.
In 2017, Gordon starred in The Blinding Light World Premiere at The Jermyn Street Theatre directed by Tom Littler.
In 2018, Gordon both acted and produced the European premiere of the play Blueberry Toast by Mary Laws at Soho Theatre.
In 2022, Gordon starred in Amazon film All The Old Knives directed by Janus Metz opposite Chris Pine and Thandie Newton.
In 2022, Gordon played Lizzie in This is England directed by Michael Winterbottom for Sky Original.
She appeared in music videos for three songs by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds:
“Blue Moon Rising” (Jan 2020) opposite actor Jack O’Connell, ”We're on our way now" (May 2021) and "Flying on the ground" (June 2021), opposite actor, Matt Smith.
Producing[edit]
In 2017, Gordon founded her former production company Platform Presents to create a platform for rising talent: actors, writers and directors, with a particular interest in female voices. In a quest to discover new and exciting writing talent, Gordon initiated the Platform Presents Writers Prize amassing up to 3,000 entries per year worldwide. The prize was marked with an annual Poetry Gala with stars of the stage and screen performing to raise awareness and funds for the initiative.
Performers over the years included; Juliet Stevenson, Joely Richardson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tobias Menzies, Ben Whishaw, Harry Treadaway, Denise Gough, Nicholas Pinnock, Romola Garai, Paapa Essiedu, Dougray Scott, Genevieve O’Reilly, Kyle Soller, Fisayo Akinade, Sebastian de Souza, Jade Anouka, Danny Kirrane, Phoebe Fox, Jaime Winstone, Sir John Standing, George Mackay, Vanessa Kirby, Tuppence Middleton, Grace Savage, James Massiah, Alexandra Roach, Ollie Feather, Florence Welch, Lindsay Duncan, Tom Stoppard, Ken Loach, Gemma Arterton, Jack Farthing, Dianna Agron, Tamsin Greig, Indira Varma, Freddie Fox, Jeremy Irvine, Patrick Kennedy, Holliday Grainger, Jasmine Lee-Jones, LionHeart, Luke Treadaway, Rhys Ifans and Alice Eve.
During this time, Gordon worked with many formidable writers including, Robert Schenkkan, Kenneth Lonergan and Mary Laws.
Harper's Bazaar selected Gordon as a 2020 Change Maker, whilst Vanity Fair, Forbes, The Evening Standard and The New Yorker featured her company's work.
Tipped by ES Magazine as ‘a woman pivoting to transform London’s West End,’ Gala was chosen as a UK representative of the theatre industry to discuss Rebuilding our Capital of Culture interviewed by Chief Theatre Critic, Nick Curtis.
Writing
In 2023, Gordon was selected as contributing editor at Harper’s Bazaar to cover the theatre productions in London for online and in print.

Modelling
Gordon is represented by Tess Management.[4] She appeared in fashion magazines such as British Vogue, LOVE, Lula, and on the covers of Tatler[5] , Country and Townhouse and French magazine Madame Figaro shot by Paul Smith.[6]
In 2014 Gordon featured in Roberto Cavalli Class line campaign fall Winter 2014/15.[7] She was selected of Bella Freud's fragrance 1970, launched in 2014.[8]
In 2015, Gordon was the face of the global campaign for UGG.
