Description
English: An operations-division Starfleet field jacket—as seen in season three of Star Trek: Picard—on display aboard Star Trek: The Cruise VI. An accompanying placard said,

Intended for wear in field situations such as away team excursions to planet surfaces or other situations where the service uniform is impractical or otherwise inappropriate. The jacket's upper torso bears the wearer's division color, and rank insignia is worn on both sides of the field lacket at the base of the collar.

This version of the Starfleet Utility Uniform is worn by actor LeVar Burton for his portrayal of Commodore Geordi La Forge. It is a creation of costume designer Michael Crow and the Star Trek: Picard costume department under supervision of Mitch Kenney.
