She has played guitar and sang in several bands as well as releasing a solo album, titled The Mighty.[2][3][4]

Career[edit]

In 2006, Siegman worked with Guitar Hero developers Harmonix as the lead producer of Guitar Hero II. Also, in work for the video game developer Treyarch, she provided vocals for the soundtrack to the Nazi Zombies, or simply Zombies, game mode in the video games Call of Duty: World at War (2008), Call of Duty: Black Ops[5] (2010), Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012), Call of Duty: Black Ops III (2015), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (2018) and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). In 2011, her music was released on the Call of Duty: Black Ops - Zombies Soundtrack as part of the Rezurrection DLC pack, the fourth downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops.[6] Some remastered versions of songs from previous games and a new track from Call of Duty: Black Ops II were released in 2013 on the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies - Origins Soundtrack along with the Origins map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The tracks featuring her vocals are (in chronological order): Lullaby of a Dead Man, The One and Beauty of Annihilation from Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops; 115, Abracadavre, Pareidolia and Coming Home from Call of Duty: Black Ops; Archangel from Call of Duty: Black Ops II; Dead Again and The Gift from Call of Duty: Black Ops III. All songs were written and produced by Kevin Sherwood, sound designer and composer at Treyarch. She also provided both lead and backup vocals for the jingles of the items Juggernog Perk-a-Cola, Double Tap Perk-a-Cola, Speed Cola Perk-a-Cola, and Elemental Pop Perk-a-Cola in the Zombies game mode.

On May 24, 2011, she released her debut solo album, The Mighty.[7]

In 2014 she joined Bungie to work on the Destiny franchise as a producer.[8]

In Sept 2023 it was announced that Elena is now the new studio head for Cold Iron Studios.

Call of Duty[edit]

Siegman was hired by Treyarch to sing various songs for Call of Duty.[12] Her vocal style evolved in collaboration with writer and music producer, Kevin Sherwood. She brought her musical experience and style to the recording sessions and Sherwood encouraged her to experiment with new vocal methods such as screaming and growling with a distortion feature.[23] She has been a featured vocalist on a number of Call of Duty video games but has become widely known for her vocal performance on 115 on Call of Duty: Black Ops, which received favorable reviews and had been viewed over 60 million times on YouTube as of 2024.[13][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]

Siegman is a featured singer on, Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies - Origins Soundtrack, released in 2013. She appears on tracks, Lullaby of a Dead Man, The One and Beauty of Annihilation from Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops; 115, Abracadavre, Pareidolia and Coming Home, Archangel, Dead Again and The Gift. [31]

She also provided both lead and backup vocals for the jingles of the items Juggernog Perk-a-Cola, Double Tap Perk-a-Cola, Speed Cola Perk-a-Cola, and Elemental Pop Perk-a-Cola in the Zombies game mode.[32]

In 2015, Siegman performed select Zombies songs with the Concordia University of Edmonton choral concert.[33] PhD Bill Anderson, had listened to his son playing Call of Duty's soundtrack and was so impressed with Elena's voice that he created a choral concert event that would feature her singing.[34]
