Vinícius Tessaro (born 8 March 2007) is a Brazilian racing driver who last competed and won the 2023 F4 Brazilian Championship driving for Cavaleiro Sports.

Career[edit]

Karting[edit]

Tessaro spent the most of his professional karting career in the United States, where in 2016, his first year, he won his only karting titles: the SKUSA SuperNationals XX in Micro Swift class. In 2017 he came 7th in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in the Micro MAX class.

In 2019, his final year in karting, he made his debut in Europe and contested in the WSK Euro Series, WSK Champions Cup, WSK Super Master Series and the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship in the OKJ class.

Formula 4[edit]

Tessaro made his debut in the inaugural season of the F4 Brazilian Championship in 2022 with Cavaleiro Sports, following a first round with no points he scored his first points at Interlagos with a 5th place, followed by a maiden podium in the next race, and rounding off the round with another podium. His scored high point finishes and five more podiums to his tally but no wins. Tessaro ended his maiden single-seater campaign with 3rd place in the standings and collecting 163 points.

He would contest the series again in 2023 with the same team as he would dominate the first round at Interlagos, picking up two wins, one pole and two fastest laps. Tessaro would fight for the championship with rookie, Matheus Comparatto and returning driver, Álvaro Cho, he would pick up four more wins and seven more podiums. Tessaro would win the championship in the final race with a grand total of 233 points.

USF Juniors[edit]

After his championship win, he was announced to be driving in the 2024 USF Juniors with DEForce Racing, the first step of the Road to Indy ladder.
