Jalasamadhi is a 2019 Indian social drama film directed and produced by Venu Nair, written by Malayalam novelist Sethu. The film, based on the national award winning novel Adayalangal written by Sethu and the film talks about the evils of consumer culture in human relations. Set in the Kerala - Tamil Nadu border and language spoken is a mix of Malayalam and Tamil. M. S. Baskar played the main character of Munuswami. The film won more than 50 awards globally. Jalasamadhi was produced by Venu Nair Productions.
