Draft:Greatworth Tunnel
Greatworth Tunnel is a cut and cover tunnel currently under construction as part of High Speed 2. It will be 1.7 miles long.
The tunnel is constructed from 5,410 precast concrete segments manufactured in Derbyshire.[1][2]
History[edit]
Renderings of the tunnel were first published in January 2022.[4] Assembly began in September 2023.
