Draft:Crooked Diehl (band)

Crooked Diehl is a an American Southern Rock/Folk band that formed at Rhodes College in Memphis. The founding members include Fred Jackson, his sister Sadie, Zach Jennings, Jake Sanders, and Malcolm Bryan. They began playing shows in Memphis in 2022 and are still playing and touring. They released a live EP titled 'Live at the Garden' in the Summer of 2023 and plan to release a full length album in 2024, although they have not released a date for this.

The group's name was created by their lead guitarist Fred Jackson, and is a reference to one of their school's previous President Charles Edward Diehl.

The band began touring around the south playing at fraternities such as Kappa Alpha at Auburn University and Kappa Alpha at Birmingham Southern College. They have also played numerous shows in Memphis in places such as Hi-Tone, B-Side, and Railgarten. In the spring of 2023, they took place in the Rhodes College battle of the bands, where they opened for the band Coin
