Billy Christopoulos (born February 1, 1994) is a former American professional ice hockey goaltender. Most recently, Christopoulos played for the Toledo Walleye in the ECHL. Prior to turning pro he played college hockey at the United States Air Force Academy. He also played junior hockey with the Des Moines Buccaneers in the United States Hockey League (USHL) and the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL).

Playing career[edit]

Christopoulos played three years of junior hockey before joining the Air Force Falcons men's ice hockey. While at Air Force Christopoulos and the Falcons won two Atlantic Hockey championships in 2017 and 2018.[1] During his college hockey career Christopoulos was two time Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Year as well as First Team All Conference selection.[2] In 2019 Christopoulos turned pro and spent the next three seasons playing in the East Coast Hockey League and had multiple stints in the American Hockey League.[3] In his final season Christopoulos led the Toledo Walleye to a Brabham Cup title and to the Kelly Cup finals.[4] Christopoulos was also named to the 2020 ECHL All Rookie Team.[5]

Christopoulos retired from hockey following the 2022 season and is currently serving in the United States Air Force.[6]
