The Banker Schools scandal was a corruption scandal that occurred in Victorian politics. It was the subject of an investigation by the Independent Broad-Based Anti-Corruption Commission (IBAC), as part of Operation Ord.[1][2] As a result of the IBAC investigation, the chief of the Victorian Department of Education, Nino Napoli, was sentenced to jail in 2021 for 3 years and 10 months.[3] Napoli's cousin and brother were also convicted.[4]
