The Central District of Gerash County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان گراش) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Gerash.[3]
In February 2008, Gerash District was separated from Larestan County in the establishment of Gerash County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Gerash as its capital and only city at the time.[3]
The National Census in 2011 counted 39,919 people in 10,865 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 46,878 inhabitants in 13,136 households.[2]
