I've never seen evidence that Muddy Waters ever recorded for Sun Records or Memphis Recording Service. Also it should be noted that Howling Wolf was never under contract to Sun. His Memphis sessions were recorded by Phillips under contract to Modern Recordss and Chess before Sun existed as a label.

I took it on myself to remove Muddy Waters, who was neither under contract to Sun or recorded at Memphis Recording Services. There needs to be a separate category Memphis Recording Services artists, which would include Howlin' Wolf, Ike Turner, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.242.163.185 (talk) 20:05, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
