Should we also put Richard Bachman characters in this page, too?? I think that we should.[edit]

The title says it all: should we put even characters under Stephen King's Pseudonym all under this one page?? I don't really see why not.

Half of these character pages shouldn't even exist. Every single character from every single novel should not be added. I question the merit the remaining pages have already. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions ♣ 23:14, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

King's characters[edit]

I would add Richard Bachman as a character, as this is a fictional entity named, and described in fiction at King's hand. If memory serves he even wrote up jacket cover blurbs about Bachman to further the character's reality. What more defines a fictional character, I can't imagine.

"Should we also put Richard Bachman characters in this page, too?" The title of the page is "Stephen King's characters" (s/b) and so any characters he created should be listed here. Briefly lived or broadly explored, a character is a character...

[:Half of these character pages shouldn't even exist. Every single character from every single novel should not be added. I question the merit the remaining pages have already.] I'm not clear where the merit is lacking. I came here thinking "this looks rather sparse..." King is prolific and his character list should be bursting.

Perhaps minor and incidental characters could be lumped under two links, and this page left to stand for *main* characters explicitly, but still satisfy (literally, the category title) all characters - if only through linked architecture.

I think this is an excellent resource page idea for looking up a character independently by author. Look forward to hearing more about the qualities of merit you or others find lacking, as I'm new to proper contribution here.
