* Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Is diffusion appropriate, and if so how?[edit]

The parent category of Sportspeople from Madrid, (Category:People from Madrid) was tagged as needing diffusion at some stage. It's now getting quite big itself (423 items).

Is it appropriate to sub categorise? And if so to what? Footballers from Madrid would be one obvious items, but I suspect that it could be a few hundred in size. What makes sense?

Maybe classifications:

Sportspeople from Madrid: Footballers from Madrid: Football strikers from Madrid
Sportspeople from Madrid: Footballers from Madrid: Football goalkeepers from Madrid
Sportspeople from Madrid: Footballers from Madrid: Football other positions from Madrid

Does that make sense? Is it possible to be that specific apart from goalies?
