Oppose Punk Rock refers to the music subgenre, which is a subelement of Punk. Punk refers to the subculture and the whole phenomena associated with it. The current classification of "Punk rock" under "Punk" is OK. --Dead3y3Talk page 06:56, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Support. How the hell is the music a subelement of "the whole phenomena"? This discussion should be reopened; having two classifications is misleading and confusing. + Ceoil 23:06, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Punk rock should be a sub-category of Punk, which includes more than music, such as punk ideologies, punk fashion, and punk visual art among other things related to the punk subculture. Since this discussion seems kinda inactive, I'll remove the tag if no one disagrees. (I'll give it about 5 days.) -Rocket000 00:47, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
