Link with Category:Mysteries[edit]

I think this cat and Category:Mysteries should be somehow linked. In my humble opinion, both are pretty much about the same thing with the difference that

Unsolved problems is about problems thats scientists work on and
Mysteries are about problems that scientists often consider "unscientific" (ghosts, ufos etc).

Any idea how to link them without alienating anybody? Making which category a sub-cat of which other cat? Peter S. 16:00, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Mysteries was made the supercat in the interim. I've just tightened up the definition for this category as there were a couple of articles that were in Unsolved problems that I felt ought to be moved to Mysteries. jnestorius^(talk) 21:15, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

technical problems[edit]

I added the "category: open problems" tag to a few unsolved technical problems (computer engineering, aerospace engineering, etc.), even though those problems are arguably not "scientific" problems. Is there a more specific category I should be using, something like "unsolved engineering problems" or "difficult design problems"? --DavidCary (talk) 12:30, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
