Individuals[edit]

This doesn't seem like an appropriate category to put individual people into. It is not a defining characteristic of those individuals, and it's incredibly subjective whether Person Z is sufficiently gender-nonconforming to be in the category. I mean, how many times does a man need to wear a dress to qualify? Are high heels enough? What if he's just really "girly"? I can think of dozens of notable people over the years who are nonconforming in one way or another, but it may or may not be something important to them, or may not fit their own self-identity. Additionally, it's now being treated as both a topic category (articles about nonconformity) and a set category (articles about people who are nonconforming)... making it a mix of apples and oranges. That's not a good approach to categorization. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 21:21, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There are several high-profile non-LGBT people like Rudy Giuliani, Dennis Rodman, Kid Cudi, Young Thug, Jermaine Fowler, and Harry Styles who should be included if we keep this category.--14Jenna7Caesura (talk) 01:54, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
