Adding infobox to lake on list, but without page[edit]

Hi there,

I'm new to editing and taking a stab at adding some infoboxes to lakes on this page. Asking in case it comes up again in the future... I came across a lake requiring infobox, but it does not have it's own page: listed as Beaver Lake. Should an infobox be added to the section of the page describing the lake, or should it be removed from this list? Thanks. Uninspired Username (talk) 03:10, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, an infobox should be added to the section if the lake does not have its own page as it probably has not established enough notability to be moved to its own page and the infobox allows the structured information to be read and presented. If the lake is notable, it could be moved and infobox presented on the new page, but the move should probably include more than just the infobox being added to justify the split. I'm just focusing on the infobox backlog for now and would add the infobox to the section if it is listed as part of another page and if a split is considered add a split template and with rational in the discussion of the page.Wolfgang8741 says: If not you, then who?
