Subcategories on the Textile mill tree.[edit]

I would suggest this category is removed- as it duplicates the category tree Textile mills in ..., if you wish to persist have a look at {{Lancashire Cotton}} {{Lancashire Cotton Corporation}} where you will find you will find multiple links. But in spite of that welcome on board. -- Clem Rutter (talk) 23:27, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@ClemRutter: I was trying break up the US and UK textile mill categories because they were becoming unwieldy. Other than by country there was one category by century (19th), one by fiber (silk), and one by company (Lancashire Cotton Corporation} so I wasn't sure which way to go. In the American context, Woolen, Cotton, and Silk mills have distinct historical, labor and regional distinctions so that seemed like the way to go. Maybe that's not the case in the UK context?
Now that I've populated the category, if you still have concerns please tag me on my talk page and we can discuss further to reach a consensus. Thanks! RevelationDirect (talk) 00:49, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
