It is not clear who is supposed to be included in this category. Are British people sentenced to life imprisonment in the UK supposed to be included or is this only for British people sentenced to 'life' in other countries? Hmains (talk) 02:55, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

? How is it not clear from the definition? It clearly states that it is for "prisoners of British nationality;" people of British nationality can appear in UK courts or the courts of any other country. It then refers you to Category:Prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment by the United Kingdom for people sentenced to life by the UK, regardless of nationality. In other words, one is a by-nationality category and one is a by-jurisdiction category; there will surely be some overlap. This may not be 100% clear from the name of the category alone, but with the definition here and at the other category, I wasn't sure how I could have made it any more clear.
