Criteria[edit]

I have made one amendment to this category (removing Blue Peter) but I thought I'd chew it over first before doing any more damage! There is a separate category for Epsom Derby winners and I noticed that the majority of Derby winners only appear there. A small number are in both. Seems to me we need a consistent rule and my proposal would be to keep British Classic race winners just for "non-Derby" winners. Any thoughts? -- Bcp67, 21 August 2007

There are two ways I can think of to sort out the "British Classic Race winners" category:

1. Have a subcategory for each of the five classics.

2. Get rid of the "Epsom Derby winners" category and have all the classic winners together.

I favour the latter - the Epsom Derby page shows which Derby winners have articles so Category:Epsom Derby winners isn't really necessary. -- Zafonic 18:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
