Is this category really needed?[edit]

There is only one atoll in the South Atlantic, which is Rocas Atoll. The formation of a new atoll takes several thousand years and does not seem to be happening in Brazilian waters. The two small sectors of Brazilian waters in the Northern Hemisphere (off Amapá state and around the St. Peter and St. Paul Archipelago) have no atolls. Brazil is not engaging in territorial expansionism and is extremely unlikely to do so in the future. So, this category will never have more than one entry - that would be a practical impossibility. A whole Wikipedia category for just one article? Is this really needed? --UrsoBR (talk) 17:20, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
